About
The Success Mentor Program is a mentor program that matches upper-division mentors with first-year students. Through a one-on-one mentor relationship, mentors will empower first-year students to make a successful academic and personal transition to life at UC Merced. The Success Mentor Program is a one semester commitment, and mentees can be a part of SMP in either semester of their first year, or both.

Mentor Meet-Ups!
This year, our program is implementing a new exciting opportunity called Mentor Meet Ups for the first few weeks of the semester. At our Mentor Meet Ups, you can meet our mentors and get support right away! Our mentors are there to help answer any questions you might have on adjusting to life at UC Merced and they will support you to their best capabilities. The location and times of our Mentor Meet Ups are below:
